Rode with: Beau and Colin

*Woke up at 5:30 and followed same routine
*really feeling the soreness and tightness in my muscles from the Nick Brady Workout Challenge back on Colorado a couple days ago
*Still very dark outside. Things like this really makes me become reminded of going back to the East. Entering a different time zone really hit me over here.
*Breakfast was prepared by ladies who provided us dinner last night
*began the ride near the front of the pace line at around 7 AM
*Beau and Colin are very strong cyclists so I had trouble keeping up with them.
*Terrain was occasional rolling hills and that???s a challenge in itself especially very early into a ride
*20-30 miles in There was an accident in our pace line due to a sloppy fall back and Beau fell and had his derailer caught in the spoke. He couldn???t ride anymore
*many pace lines caught up and we had to skip some crew stops to be in a good position
*mNy guys decided to partake in challenges in today???s ride (no crew stops, pull the whole ride, talk about challenging the process)
*We were able to make it back to the front and catch up and it really put some pain in my lower back. Good thing it was nothing too serious.
*For about 20 miles there were constant rolling hills and they were extremely annoying to ride through.
*after the last rolling hill we saw a really huge hill and began to complain jokingly. We got lucky and turned left and did not deal with any more hills for the remainder of the ride.
*Had lunch at mile 70 and then continued riding and being near the top if the line.
*mile 86 had a tv reporter stop us at a crew van and we got interviewed on tv. Most of the cyclists caught up with us at this time..
*rode to lodging on some rough roads and arrived at the High School
* possibly the worst lodging spot so far on this trip (water was dirty and rusty)
* Ate ate Pizza Hut for dinner and later was forced to play in a Basketball tournament. I was terrible. (Tight muscles, really full, put on a team at the last second)
* rested up for a relaxing ride to Grand Island tomorrow.
